Another thought: The fingers relate to Metal (fingers 1, 2) and Fire (fingers 3, 4, 5). A metallic circle around finger 4 links the 3 Fire Fingers, and directly short-circuits PC (finger 3, Yin), TH (finger 4, Yang) and HT (finger 5, Yin). PC and HT (Yin; via their links to CV17, BL14, CV14, BL15 - Mu & Shu points for PC & HT) relate to the Shen/emotional/spiritual aspects of sexuality. TH (Yang; via its links to TH17-TH21 relates to brain-hypothalamic- hormonal aspects, and via its links to CV05 + BL22 (TH Mu & Shu Points), links to organic (physical) functions of KI, adrenal, ovary and testis - material aspects of sexuality. Could short-circuiting the Yin & Yang Fire aspects of sexuality be a stabilising influence on a sexual relationship? 2. In his paper on cancer (IVAS Congress, Oostende, 2004), Are Thoresen mentioned that a THICK (broad) ring on finger 4 is more likely to be associated with cancer of the cervix / prostate than is a narrow ring on the same finger! To treat cancer of the cervix/prostate, Are also uses a TH point, between TH02 and TH01, circa 1-inch distal to TH02, right where the ring touches the ulnar side of metacarpal bone 4 Are, is that correct? Would you like to expand on the summary, above?
