Step 1. You will first need to fill out the consent form that is provided at the test site. After that you need to fill out the risk indication questions inside the back cover of the 'Heart to Heart' booklet that is provided

Step 2. A trained nurse will ask you to take a seat. They will then gently prick your finger to obtain a small drop of blood, and apply it to a testing strip to calculate your total cholesterol level. Please don't worry, it really is quick and easy!

Step 3. Three minutes later you will receive your result. The nurse will let you know whether a consultation with your General Practitioner is advised. A GP will be able to do a detailed risk assessment of your heart health and give further advice.
