Guest guest
I do not know if the toxic chemicals will spike your insulin or not, but it will give you rashes, eczema, and other skin disorders. Those same harmful chemicals will irritate, maybe even cause asthma, and breathing disorders. If you have allergies you should stay away from these harmful chemicals. They are every where in your home cleaners, laundry products, and personal care items, they soak into your cells. From your cells they go to your blood, and every organ in your body, including your brain, liver, kidneys, heart and even your spine. When you wash and dry your cloths with these chemicals, a large % stays in your cloths, and then soaks into your body when you wear the clothing or sleep on the sheets. When you spray them in your air space, you inhale them. When you scrub your body with these soaps, put lotion, and beauty products on your skin it soaks right into your whole body. It is there for you and your family to breath, even if it is setting unopened in the cabinet. Have you ever walked down the cleaning isle at the grocery store, and smelled all those toxic chemicals in the air? If you breath it into your lungs, it goes into your body. Part of what I did to help my health was to use safer more natural products. The difference in my health is amazing. My health issue was fibromyalgia, and changing to these safer products is what helped me so much. Changing to safer products made it possible for my daughter to get off of anti-antibiotics and steroids with her asthma and allergies. First time in 24 years that she has not had to be on anti- antibiotics and steroids, I think that is such a miracle. There is a couple of great videos that you might want to watch, that shows more about toxic chemicals and what Dr's. and scientist are saying about the health hazards. Go to your search engine and put in Toxic Brew, there is video 1 and 2, great info. This info is put out by Canada, they don't seem to let these chemical manufactures buy off their government like they do here in the USA. There are many of the chemicals that are allowed for use here in the states, that Canada and Europe do not allow in their products. Even the state of CA. has stiffer laws on chemicals than the FDA does. Too much money in it for the FDA to want to protect the consumers of the USA. Ok I will get off my soap box now, but this is very important information that should not be ignored. Guest guest
Annie, Yes, a number of the chemicals in clothing can interfere with insulin and blood sugar control. There is clear evidence that they do and one of the places to begin investigating it is www.ehponline.org home of the journal Environmental Health Perspectives which is among the most respected journals on health and toxicity. Their full studies are available free of charge.
