Guest guest
Firstly, a rise in global temperature creates an increase in the frequency or intensity of many kinds of extreme weather hot or cold. Secondly, it is a scientific fact that the global average temperature has increased significanty since the industrial revolution. This is a fact that is not disputed in the scientific world. What is disputed is that greenhouse gasses are involved. In the early 1980's Germany parlement started passing legislation on greenhouse gass emitions due to " man made climate changes " . So the idea has been around longer then Gore. The truth is that many factors go into global warming. It's more then a greenhouse gas effect, but we are not helping the situation. One thing we should all agree on is that the industrialized pollution that we have created is effecting our health and emotional stability. Most of the papers have Global warming wrong and both American political sides have twisted the information to their liking. America and China are the only two countries debating our effects on global warming. We are also the two countries emitting the most greenhouse gases. The Earth Institute has really good information on the earths current energy shift and the many factors that go into climate change. According to Columbia Universities website even the smallest shifts in energy have an effect on our weather be it something in space or here on earth. Everything is a factor, just as in health. http://www.earth.columbia.edu/news/2005/story11-04-05.html
Guest guest
Firstly according to the books, a rise in temperature decrease the storms, because less cold....cold fronts. It is an scientific fact that the temperature have increased since the little ice age......and that the temperature were higher before the little ice age than they are to day. One thing there is a fact is that the CO2 got nothing to do with our increased temperature.Den 29/02/2008 kl. 18.44 skrev ashleah_brack:Firstly, a rise in global temperature creates an increase in thefrequency or intensity of many kinds of extreme weather hot or cold.Secondly, it is a scientific fact that the global average temperaturehas increased significanty since the industrial revolution.
