Police in Las Vegas said a man is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a motel room with a powder suspected of being the poison ricin, The Associated Press reported Friday.

He is one of seven people hospitalized in the incident, but six of them were admitted only as a precaution. The presence of the unconscious body may have been what alerted the motel’s staff that something was amiss and led to the discovery of the powder, which preliminary tests identified. http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=119767
