Pennsylvania Court Orders Doogie's Story off the Internet

Please spread this blatant travesty of justice far and wide. What happened

to Tammy Grimes for showing compassion to a dying dog could happen to anyone

of us if faced with a similar decision of alleviating the suffering of an

animal in pain or of a child for that matter. The pathetic excuses of a

human being, i.e. the owners, should have been prosecuted to the fullest

extent of the law and the presiding judge in this case should be removed

from the bench.

Please keep Tammy's and Doogie's story alive!

Note that she was ordered within 10 days to take everything Doogie related

off of any site she 'has control or influence over.

Well, since nobody has "control or influence" over this list, we are in a

position to spread and condemn this miscarriage of justice far and wide and

as you can see - it is even making the rounds in South Africa.

Pennsylvania Court Orders Doogie's Story off the Internet

 

 

YOU MUST READ THIS WHOLE STORY ABOUT DOOGIE, BECAUSE HIS STORY IS ABOUT TO

DISAPPEAR FROM THE INTERNET UNDER COURT ORDER. DOOGIE WAS A DOG LEFT TO DIE

AT THE END OF A CHAIN. A WOMAN NAMED TAMMY GRIMES RESCUED HIM, AND WAS

ARRESTED BY THE "OWNERS." GRIMES WAS SENTENCED YESTERDAY IN COURT FOR THEFT

OF PROPERTY. THOSE OF US HELPING ANIMALS IN ANY WAY ARE ALL AT RISK OF BEING

VICTIMS OF THE TRAVESTY THAT IS OUR "JUSTICE" SYSTEM.

 

This is no "read and decide for yourself" b.s., either. This is a NO-BRAINER

WHAT WAS DONE TO THIS DOG that was "just old." See the pictures and video.

2/22/08. Today Grimes was sentenced to 300 hours community service for a

'people organization', because 'people are dogs too'. She was also ordered

to pay for the cost of the trial. (Note: this is not court costs, but trial

costs, two different things. Trial cost covers the jurors lunches, the

sheriff's wages, and the bus driver's salary.) This was justified by the

judge because she said that Grimes chose to go to trial over ARD

[alternative dispute resolution], therefore she should have to pay for it.

Isn't it every person's right to go to trial? Does that right come with a

price tag? Interestingly enough, according to Grimes' attorneys, this is not

only NOT OFTEN done, but RARELY done. The costs were around $1700.

 

She was also ordered within 10 days to take everything Doogie related off of

any site she 'has control or influence over'. We will be appealing most if

not all of the sentencing asap.

 

The absolute worst part of it all was the way she was treated by both the DA

and the judge. The saddest thing is that they actually seem to BELIEVE the

horrible things they said about her. They seem to actually BELIEVE that the

taking of Doogie was a publicity stunt by Grimes, so that she could be a

'hero'. That the Arnolds are 'victims' of her lies, and that 'the dog was

just old'.
