Silver and Gold

Whether one chooses to have silver and gold now is a personal

decision. However, something to keep in mind is not to rely on these

treasures to save your life now or in the future. Rich people die all

the time and their money can't buy their life. Its not a bad thing to

be rich or have silver and gold, etc, its how one views them. Some

people make money their god and slave for it at the expense of storing

up " treasures in heaven " , meaning, having a good relationship with

God. It is the " love of money " that is bad, not having it. And

I'm not saying any of you feel that way just by discussing it or buying

it either.

 

Interestingly, Ezekiel said " Into the streets they will throw their

very silver, and an abhorrent thing their own gold will become.

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to delier them in the

day of Jehovah's fury.... "

 

Seeing there are only a couple phrophcies yet to be fulfilled in these

last days of this system of things according to the Bible, should

people be seeking out something else also? I'm not against the gold

and silver and money things - just keep it in perspective and realize

that it will not save your life when God starts Armageddon (not started

by humans) the greatest war ever.

 

I look around sometimes and see people going about their daily lives

and not taking note of this time we live in and the significance of

it. Seems to me that in Noah's day, it was the same way. Its not

that all people then and now were wicked, its just that they " took no

note " and did not respond to the warning proclaimed by Noah and others

today and what happened to them? Compare Matthew 24:14 and 38, 39

that was put there for our information in the time of the end (last

days of this system).

 

Whenever God took action against a nation or people, he always warned

them, like Noah, or Jonah, etc Why is it today most people don't

realize that things are happening and they don't care to find out?

 

This is really not something to fear unless you take no action. For

instance, I'm sure you have all heard of the Lord's prayer. .....Thy

Kingdom come on EARTH as it is in heaven..... Do you know what

that means? It means when God by means of Jesus brings His kingdom to

earth, violence and crime and wicked people will be done away with.

There will be only one earthly government and one religion. Death

will be no more, nor sickness nor pain. People will build houses for

themselves to live in, have plenty of grain on the Earth, will be at

peace with animals (these things are earthly things not heavenly). No

more famine and diseases, no MORE BIG PHARMA, NO DOCTORS!!!!!

 

That prayer above also means not everyone goes to Heaven, that " the

righteous will inherit the Earth " . See Psalms 37:9, 11, 29. So

perhaps you could be one of them.

 

Remember that God's purpose was to have the Earth inhabited by people

with none of those problems and live forever. Just because Adam and

Eve disobeyed, that purpose will still be realized. If any of you

have a dead loved one, take heart that in this paradise Earth to come

that " there will be a resurrection of the righteous and UNRIGHTEOUS "

See ACTs 24:15 Why would God resurrect unrighteous people? And

where would they be resurrected to? Heaven? No. The Earth. But

why? I do know why but I don't want to conduct a whole bible study

here. If you want to know, ask.
