I have absolutely no information which even suggests anything like

this, including from foreign newspapers. A newspaper out of Madrid I

read to practice my Spanish goes on about Senator Clinton and Senator

Obama's latest spat, but no major US actions involving the World Court.

 

The World Court would have no authority whatsoever to " arrest " the

president, vice president, etc. They would levy sanctions and let us

sort out our own mess. There *are* several actions against the US in

the World Court that I am aware of, but they involve Internet

gambling and corn subsidies. Last I knew we were likely to lose these

actions, but the results would end up being other countries tariffing

our goods and, in one case, being allowed to ignore our copyright

laws on other products (e.g. movies). Nothing involving oil, nothing

involving airliners. Maybe just wishful thinking? Maybe if the rest

if the world *did* stand up to us, we'd actually straighten ourselves

out a bit?
