Guest guest
Plato's cave is an interesting theory of several men born in a cave, they were bound, like slaves and only knew what was reflected upon the walls. In this very short movie, one of them breaks free and discovers a vast world beyond the cave. When he comes back to tell his fellow 'slaves' about this wondrous place beyond the cave. He is ridiculed, mocked and not believed. The cave is the only prison they have ever known and the only one they want to know. Sound Familiar? The more I crawl out of my cave, the more I know I could never go back to being that bound entity, only knowing the darkness of the cave as home. The Universe is far to beautiful to sit in darkness. Want to join me exploring? :-) Watch this, very short, little film. You won't be sorry. Guest guest
Yes Plato was an exceptional person - apart from any other significance - that what they used to study in Uni. is now taught in primary school, but the traffic rules are 10 times more stringent - the implication being that people are more learned but more stupid or irresponsible, and probably less spiritually aware than ever, poses many challenges to those who are interested in spiritual matters, like him we still have to be kind and gentle to the primary school children and the Uni. students .......... the more we see the kinder we become - don't you think? The higher we climb the further we know there is to go and the more we know the more we realise how little that is? - Lynda Brasier A- Lynda Tuesday, February 12, 2008 10:06 AM PLATO'S CAVE - REALITY AND ILLUSION EXPOSED Plato's cave is an interesting theory of several men born in a cave, they were bound, like slaves and only knew what was reflected upon the walls. Guest guest
Never fails to amaze me that more then two thousand years ago there were some people that were so smart. It was true then as it is true today. We are prisoners and are blinded by the truth because we are conditioned by the lie to believe the falsehood.
