Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has come across an article (or articles) in

any of the English language news resources about a scientific

research project in which probiotics were tested for slowing down

pancreatitis. Earlier experiments on rats appear to have shown good

positive results. The deaths have come as a total shock and they have

no idea why or how.

I was just reading the online Dutch newspaper

http://www.nu.nl/news/1404159/83/Wetenschappers_kapot_en_verslagen.html

in which it was announced that 24 of the participants in this project

have died , and as a result they have discontinued the research.
