Guest guest
I read recently that Ron Paul was instrumental in getting Ronald Reagan elected as President. Right? Then Reagan gets in as President, hires Donald Rumsfeld to be on his Transitional team. Rumsfeld is or was the CEO of a chemical company that made ASPARTAME. Long story short, after Reagan becomes president, HE and Rumsfeld allow ASPARTAME to be dumped into our FOOD. Thanks RON PAUL!!!! So what is Ron Paul going to do about ASPARTAME that has been poisoning our food supply for the last several decades HUH????? jlk > >Re: [graffis-l] RON PAUL > > > >At 09:34 AM 1/6/08, you wrote: > >>Poll: If today was election day, who would get your vote? > >>Posted by: " Mark Graffis " mgraffis mgraffis > >>Sat Jan 5, 2008 2:37 pm (PST) > >>Survey is on the right near the bottom. We all have choice - are we dependant on gvt to add or subtract poisonous to our food and drink = we do not have to consume it - Aspartane does not come in fresh fruit and vegetables does it? Nor in a decent loaf of bread! Ron Paul appears to be the best choice you have - why knock it? Guest guest
This sounds like a rather contrived attempt to find dirt on Dr Ron Paul, the one in a life time Statesman to come along. Must be really hard for those who have turned this gentleman's life up side down and inside out to find something to criticize him about. I thought there was a congress of well over 430 people who had a say in it. Get all your facts straight before attempting this lowest of attempts. Doesn't sounds like one of your most intelligent posts. Hanneke At 04:37 AM 7/01/2008, you wrote: >I read recently that Ron Paul was instrumental in getting Ronald >Reagan elected as President. Guest guest
Nobody is perfect. Not even Ron Paul so get a grip. I think the facts are quite accurate as far as Paul being a strong supporter of Ronald Reagan after all, aren't they both REPUBLICANS?? Also the deal about ASPARTAME being allowed into our food soon after Reagan became President is pretty much KNOWN. Sorry that some of you are hearing this for apparently the first time. BUT the bottom line is this, what will RON PAUL do about the ASPARTAME in our food IF he become our PRESIDENT? a) Leave it as it is, b) immediately take steps to remove it from our food These are questions that we need to ask RON PAUL directly instead of screaming at those who bring up these sensitive issues. jlk , Hanneke <blosshan wrote: > > This sounds like a rather contrived attempt to > find dirt on Dr Ron Paul, the one in a life time Statesman to come along. > > Must be really hard for those who have turned > this gentleman's life up side down and inside > out to find something to criticize him about. > > I thought there was a congress of well over 430 people who had a say in it. > > Get all your facts straight before attempting > this lowest of attempts. Guest guest
It is my understanding that aspartame might be in our breads and pasteries and we don't even know it. I used to purchase chinese preserves without even thinking that it would have aspartame in it and lo and behold, I happened to read the ingredients and there it was ASPARTAME instead of sugar. There are no large warning labels on the food anymore because somehow the leadership decided to stop doing that. We practically have to read every label these days and even then, the food industry might mask ASPARTAME under a different name just like they do with MSG. Again, has anyone asked Ron Paul about ASPARTAME? jlk , " Jane MacRoss " <highfield1 wrote: > > So what is anyone else going to do about it either?? Guest guest
In Australia I don't think we are quite as fond of Aspartane as US manufacturers are - and it is still possible to buy Bio-Dynamic foods here still which I will always trust - but I had to laugh when I saw the ALL the mayo I buy is made in US - and ALL have bad oils in it - canola and soy ............... but i shall still finish what I have here in the fridge before I reluctantly attempt to replicate that yumminess in a home-made recipe! I really don't know what is in the shops in the US - here we can always find organic bread in the supermarket or HFS - and there are plenty of little bakeries here too to make the specialised breads - I have never seen aspartane listed - but I have noticed that wheat or wheat gluten is in all the breads now - even the rye, spelt and other organic breads, the gluten free is not very appealing but it is the only one without wheat available now. Thats why I have bought BD flours to make my own - though my new machine would grind whole grains up if necessary ........ No one else will do anything for you about Aspartane - i mean no other politician - why don't you ask him about it yourself? He must be in a position to want to please everyone at the moment - and by this I mean the voters - although I also understand that your President is already chosen and that your mechanical voting devices are totally rigged regardless of the people's choice? Guest guest
good grief...if the only thing we're worried about in the elections, is aspartame? I don't eat, drink, take, anything with aspartame. unfortunately, my son had it a couple times, when he spiked a high fever, in motrin/tylenol...which I hated, but he started taking the 'swallow' form, by 5 yrs old, no aspartame...and he rarely spiked fevers... it's simple, I read labels...I learned what code words are... and the worst is SOY...it can be hydrolised protein, natural flavor, etc. it is the most hidden food, yet is also in the top 7 common allergins...I hate soy, but I don't blame anyone for it, I read...I do think the coverup is deceitful...same with labeling things organic, that really aren't...but, again, I can research...and buy local as much as I can... I'm more concerned about things like NAIS (national animal id system) which will effectively put small farmers out of busness, due to the costs, and you will have nothing but agribusiness left... steroid and antibiotic filled meats, etc...and no choice! those are way more serious, and way more likely to happen, and short of going underground, until your neighbor snitches, or you need a vet, and he's forced to report you, or be punished...there will be no need to read labels, it will all be the same... aspartame, which I have avoided most of my life...along with saccharin... and other synthetics...is the least of my worries in a presidential candidate... my rights to homeschool. my rights to raise my own animals, drink raw milk, grass fed beef, pasture raised poultry/free range eggs...my rights to my property, which I pay for (and pay taxes on every year) and my money, which we work for...those are bigger concerns...along with the right to not be harassed, with entities using my own tax money... Guest guest
Bush is a Republican too... your logic is limping, and not just a little. I think the first act of any newly chosen President should lie in the arena of ending the war(s.). stop the suffering and killing of innocent people, get the economy back on track etc etc.. I am very well aware of Rumsfeld, Searle, Aspartame, and have been for many years...and a few more things you might not have heard about... As a consumer I can make choices and I refuse to consume anything with aspartame (950.951)... it's not that hard, just have to read labels at times (if you still use processed foods). Aspartame is a big issue... but there are many big issues (Thimerosal in vaccines, just one that comes to mind).. the huge lies about hydrogenated vegetable oils. Anyhow... I doubt if Aspartame would be a priority nr 1 for any president elected. (BTW... did you have that same idea when Bush was elected? that he should look into Aspartame???) Guest guest
amen!! i would love to be able to get goat milk-it is so good, and doesn't bother my stomach, but trying to get it here in ohio is like pulling teeth. i can get it at wal-mart sometimes from a farm in cal. but it is pricey. almost $4.00 for a qt. but , i agree with everything you have said. anita b. - Bob & Theresa Wegner 1/6/2008 7:59:55 PM Re: Re: RON PAUL good grief...if the only thing we're worried about in the elections, is aspartame? Guest guest
Guess what. I LIVE in California and Meyenburg goat's milk at the grocery store is $4.00 a quart. So, the distance has nothing to do with it.
