Jake,

I hope you are also taking a high-quality probiotic along with your

colloidal silver. Why do you take the silver every day? It kills all

bacteria, not just the bad kind. You want the good bacteria to stick

around. By killing off all your good bacteria all the time, you may

be more susceptible to MSRA than someone who has good intestinal flora.

I guess I don't understand in the first place why people would

knowingly put a toxic substance into their body. Silver is a proven

carcinogen - a cancer-causing agent. Metallic silver is listed in the

1979 Registry of Toxic Effects as causing cancer in animals. Silver in

any form is a bio-accumulative toxic heavy metal, like mercury, lead,

and arsenic. Its action as an antibiotic comes from the fact that it

is a non-selective toxic " biocide. "

Silver is treated by the body as a toxic heavy metal, chelated and

removed extremely slowly by proteins called metallothioneins.

Wouldn't it be better to support your immune system with whole foods

and whole food antioxidants. A person with a strong immune system can

fight off bacterial and viral attacks.

Hey, Carol, where do you get your information from? Colloidal Silver doesn't remain intact in the body long enough to kill the good bacteria. You'd have to drink gallons of very strong CS to affect the good flora. Also, silver is a transitional metal, not a heavy metal.

Yes, I agree with Hugh, Carol. True Colloidal silver is not toxic and

eliminates from the body on the second day. If you make your own,

you do have to take more of the CS than if it was made with the 10,000

volts (called the aqua sol technology with smaller particles). The

difference between the two is that using the sol technology enables the

silver particle to keep on attacking pathogens like a machine gun

whereas the standard CS is a one shot gun, which is why you take less

of the CS made with this technology. you will probably have to

purchase the silver with the sol technology. But people have been

using CS for many many years. And one of the benefits is that it

does not kill friendly flora.
