Guest guest
from: Metametrix Memo - http://www.metametrix.com/content/LearningCenter/ Dr. Sherry Rogers' Health Tip* Vitamin E Deficiency is Epidemic in Toddlers A study of preschool kids, ages 2-5, revealed that 91% were deficient in vitamin E. Half of them didn't even have 2/3 the RDA (government recommended daily allowance). This is pathetic when you realize the RDA is only 11 I.U., while the doses that cut many diseases in half were 400-800. The parents were ignorant of trans fatty acids and the authors of the study recommended that kids eat more soy, corn, and cottonseed oils! These are genetically modified and have higher levels of pesticides and trans fatty acids! This is another example of why disease will exponentially increase. --- Drewl BT, et al, Less than adequate vitamin E status observed in a group of preschool boys and girls living in the U.S., J Nutr Biochem 17:132-8, 2006 *Dr. Sherry Rogers' Health Tip excerpted from Total Wellness, May 2006 More from Dr. Sherry Rogers: < https://prestigepublishing.northlandcom.com/cgi-bin/html_web_store/html_web_store.cgi > ---
