Hmm ... wealthy countries buying environmental credits (indulgences)

by

attempting to pay off the rain forest destructionists. That reminds

me

of Al Gore's excuse for his opulent greenhouse gas overproducing

home,

saying that he actually has environmental 'credits' (which he paid

for

with $$$, not conservationism ... do what I say, not what I do). The

wealthy could buy indulgences from 'the church' in the middle ages,

so

they could continue to 'sin'. Now the wealthy buy environmental

indulgences so they can continue to

squander our heritage (which includes our earth's precious rain
