To me this is the same thing as parking in a handicapped zone when you don't have a right to. My son was handicapped and confined to a wheel chair for 24 years until he passed away at age 38. I had one of the handicap tags you hang on the rear view mirror that I only used it when he was with me and I would be getting him out of the car. When he passed away I destroyed the tag.

EMERGENCY ROOMThe other day, I needed to go to the emergency room. Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my old Army fatigues and stuck a patch that I had downloaded off the Internet onto the front of my shirt. When I went into the E.R., I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren't that sick! After all. Here's the patch. Feel free to use it the next time you're in need of quicker emergency service. It also works well if you ever have to use a Laundromat..

Its a joke - half of US jokes are slanted in this direction. Why fuss about this one - I didn't even get the joke until someone said something - we get people here in Oz claiming Social Service for ALL their relatives back in their birth countries - its the same sort of joke -

Jane in Oz, beautiful one day - perfect the next lol

Yes it IS a joke and a funny one. Illegal aliens are the criminals, not the decent hardworking Americans. And yes, so are people who park in a handicapped zone w/ no right to do so. I too had a handicapped tag for 8 years to park in the handicapped zone with my precious loved one until he passed away in 2003, and there is nothing worse than not being able to park close to where you need to go when your loved one can't walk 10 feet w/o becoming short of breath and having to stop and rest, because the handicapped space was taken by some lazy person in perfect health.
