Guest guest
I roller skate several times a week and I am constantly getting blisters on my feet. Can someone give me ideas on how to prevent new blisters from forming and maybe lessen the healing time for the already acquired blisters? Thanks Kenneth T
Guest guest
I guess you are in the US - here I would recommend putting a dressing on the existing blisters and for protection against future blisters - it is called Allevyn thin - if you google it it might give you an American equivalent. A homeopath used to put a Calendula leaf, (marigold) - in his shoe to heal existing blisters and prevent recurrence - but roller skating puts a heap of pressure on the skin ............. so Allevyn or Duoderm thin would do the trick - people used to rub their feet with metho to toughen them up too ..... this is not now used in hospitals (so it MUST be good?) - Kenneth Sunday, December 09, 2007 9:32 PM Blisters I roller skate several times a week and I am constantly getting blisters on my feet. Guest guest
Try sprinkling corn starch in your shoes and socks. It is smoother than baby powder. I will be sure to look up those items you mentioned to see what I can find.
