Guest guest
Doug, I apologize for getting back with this after so long a time. The first time I used Colloidal Silver was about 12 years ago. I had been using a straight claw hammer knocking mortar off of some used brick and the claw did a number on the upper knuckle of my thumb. It wasn't long before it had turned all red and throbbing. I went into the house and doused it with some double strength Colloidal Silver I had made to use externally if needed. In fifteen minutes the pain was gone and the next morning the redness was all gone. Next was the flu. I had been getting the flu once or twice a year for several years and when I started an using an ounce day of Colloidal Silver I haven't had the flu since. I have had no more than two slight colds in all those years that didn't last longer than a day. I'm 75 now and it has been near 13 years since I have been to a doctor and I don't get sick. I have a bunch of stored food left over from all the Y2k excitement and there were two cans of soup that had gone bad but it wasn't obvious. My house had burned down in April of 2002 and a lot of the food had burst the cans from the heat and I saved all that didn't have expanded lids. They were all subject to the heat of the fire. It is all gone now but the two times I got the bad cans I got stomach cramps in about 20 minutes. Each time I downed three ounces of Colloidal Silver and when it hit my stomach the cramps stopped immediately. Like I say, I don't get sick and I use no meds other than vitamins and minerals so I haven't had to see what happens with something serious. This should give you some idea. I am brand new to this, it has captured my imagination more than anything in recent history. Doug Harvey Flatbush <harvf (AT) iomet (DOT) com> wrote: I have to agree with practically all of what has been said so far about the good of Colloidal silver and there is probably much more good that hasn't been said yet. I have found a discrepency or two about about has been said. To start with, It is adamant about using ..999/99.9% (both are the same). So why stint on the water. If the silver must be pure, the reason is to elimenante toxins from impurities. In the recent post about making colloidal Silver it says, and I paste it in here, ( Attach alligator clips to the ends of the silver electrode wires coming over the outside rim of the glass and you will see a grey mist inside the glass start to peel away from the positive polarity wire ) If you are getting that grey mist, you are creating toxins and if you are using pure silver then the problem is with the water. I started out using pure STEAM distilled water as was stated on the label. I have never gotten a grey mist in the 13 years I have been making Colloidal Silver. That is until I bought a different brand of water at the grocery store that altho it said pure distilled water, it did not say STEAM distilled. Wouldn't you know it, I got the grey mist. I always before got a golden colored lacy veil traveling from positive to minus. I didn't use the rest of that water for Colloidal Silver but did use it in my steam iron (I am a widower). There is a brand of bottled water on the market that does say it is steam distilled and that is the PURE Brand. If anyone wants to see the label I will send a jpg of it. Someone said on one list that Wal-Mart's brand of distilled water will give the golden veil color. That is all you want is the Golden color. A white or grey mist has toxins in it. Using 27 volts in eight ounces of water, you will not normally see the golden color for from 15 to 17 minutes after you start brewing. It is easier to see if you hold a flashlight behind the glass. 21 minutes at room temperature is the proper brewing time to get a 3 to 5 ppm solution of Colloidal Silver. The main thing here is that IF you use water that is truly pure you will not get a grey mist. Actually the golden color you will see is very near the color of a tan colored paper bag. That is only if you use water that is truly pure. To snap your batteries together instead of using battery clips, lay two batteries flat on a table with the posts facing each other. Offset one battery so you can snap the minus of one to the positive of the other. Now lay the 3rd battery down and snap it together with one of the two already together. Now you should have a free positive post on one side of the battery pack and a free minus post on the other side . Cut the black plastic off of a 9 volt battery clip and then pull the two wires apart so you can freely place a sharp knife or single edge razor blade between the wires and cut the clip in half so the minus and positive clips are free from each other. The two pieces are then snapped on the batteries. Now you can fasten the two pieces of split extension cord to the wires on the battery clips. The other ends of the extension cord should have the alligator clips on them to fasten to the silver wires. Ideally to get 3-5 ppm of silver in the colloid the wires should be placed 3/4 of an inch apart in the water for 21 minutes. If the wires are farther apart it will take a little longer than 21 minutes. This is in accordance with the using a CS-300 as shown at http://www.elixa.com/silver/lindmn.htm The difference between the CS-300 generator and mine is that the CS-300 uses four 12 volt wafer batteries and are good for ten 8 ounce batches and I use four nine volt batteries that last for at least 52 batches. Five batches of the four 12 volt wafer batteries will cost considerably more than the four 9 volt batteries and you have the same voltage. The .999 pure silver that I use is 1/8 x 28 ga. and gives about the same surface as the 14 ga. round wire. You can get both at http://www.monsterslayer.com/Pages/CatalogIndex.aspx Monsterslayer TM, Inc.550 Silver & Supply · Phone: 505/598-5322 · Fax: 505/598-0974 · E-Mail: info (AT) monsterslayer (DOT) com PLAIN BEZEL .999 Pure silver 1/8" X 26 GA or 14 ga. round wire. Another discrepancy in the first post said: (Laboratory tests show that this method creates a silver colloid of approximately 1 ppm per minute of activation time. Since you are only taking microscopic particles from the silver wire, your silver wire may very well last for years.) So, If the CS-300 makes 3-5 ppm in twenty one minutes using 36 volts with new batteries, where do they get the idea that of one ppm per minute? Also 14 ga. wire will not under any circumstances last for many years. For one 8 ounce batch a week for one person those 14 ga. wires will be mighty thin in about 15 months and will need replacing if not sooner. One way to make your silver last longer is to switch your positive and minus wires after each batch. That way they will wear evenly. Otherwise the silver on the positive wire will wear out long before the other whereas the other will hardly have any wear. Harvey Never miss a thing. Make your homepage. Guest guest
I suppose you have not seen the posts about the uncontrolled environment of making your own colloidal silver. True colloidal silver with the new aqua sol technology is a clear liquid, not golden at all and does not have the potential side effects of colloidal silver w/o this technology like argyia (turning the skin a blue-grey permanent color) etc The new sol technology is 10,000 volts and the Silver Shield product at 14ppp has been approved as non-toxic. it is more efficient and you use less of it - you need not take ounces a day such as you've been taking. Maintenance is 1 tsp a day. You may email me for the 9 pages of info at nathlth and the receipes to use it. You may also view silver shield at www.mynsp.com/herbal This is the same silver shield Congress members ordered for their families. The sol technology as applied to silver is the one you all want, trust me. That's why is was developed because of the elmination of side effects and lower dosages Carol Hartwell, Certified Natural Health Professional Health & Healing

Guest guest
Miso soup is used traditionally for chest infections - certainly a bit more decent salt in the diet and extra water would help Best, Jane - doug brush Tuesday, December 11, 2007 10:11 PM Re: Re: How to make Colloidal Silver Attn.
