on 11/21/07. It will begin at 9:40 AM and last about an hour. Abby

Many cases like Abby Cormack's may have initiated this meeting.

Identical cases including neurological abound. Medical texts

document the correlation of aspartame disease to neurodegeneration,

diabetes, obesity, tumors, birth defects and even psychiatric

problems. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) documented 92

symptoms including 4 types of seizures, stroke, sexual dysfunction,

blindness and death.

Sadly the New Zealand Food Safety Authority is on the side of

aspartame manufacturers as they showed by refusing to admit me to

their consumer forum on aspartame in July. I stood by the door with

the official records exposing aspartame toxicity they refused to see

or place on the record. Even a private meeting was denied. Proving

their loyalty to industry NZFSA later excluded Dr. Ralph Walton who

did the research for 60 Minutes on aspartame studies and funding.

because of the horrific symptoms the subjects endured from the use of

this toxin. Dr. Walton is one of the experts who reviewed Abby

Cormack's case. NZFSA also refused to hear Dr. Woodrow Monte, in

Wellington who wrote the peer reviewed journal article on Aspartame,

Methanol and the Public Health.

 

The NZFSA made it plain they want no evidence of aspartame

toxicity. While they're concerned about clothing from China

containing formaldehyde they ignore the Trocho Study showing the

formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol in aspartame

embalms living tissue and damages

aspartame manufacturer interference.

 

Most consumers in New Zealand don't realize 951 is aspartame so

avoiding it is difficult. US FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross,

told Congress there is no safe dose. The Delaney Amendment makes it

illegal to allow any residues of cancer causing chemicals in

foods. In his concluding testimony Dr. Gross asked, "Given the

cancer causing potential of aspartame how would the FDA justify its

position that it views a certain amount of aspartame as constituting

an allowable dialy intake or 'safe' level of it? Is that position in

effect not equivalent to setting a 'tolerance' for this food additive

and thus a violation of that law? And if the FDA itself elects to

violate the law, who is left to protect the health of the
