Systemic Enzymes take care of varicose veins very nicely - and you will find

that they will benefit you in other ways too at the same time. I have posted

quite a few articles to this group about Systemicl Enzymes and recently.

There is a actually an article about varicose veins by Dr Wong on his website.

And these work but if you are going to try them, you need to give

them at least 3 t0 6 months - I do know somebody whom started noticing results

after a week but this does not happen with everyone -- it depends what kind

of condition you are in.

Dr. Wong's Articles

Archives with links to this naturopath’s articles. There are many truly good

& explanatory articles here too on how to use enzymes, which you need etc.

There are many things you can do .First and most important is to watch

you weight. In fact we all should but extra weight does create more pressure on

the veins that causes the valves in the vein to break down. 2nd do you have a

job that you stand in one spot? If so you may want to get a mat to stand on

..Hard floors make it worse . if you must stand for a long period of time shift

you body weight from one leg to the other .You can contract the muscles in your

legs and then relax them .By contracting and relaxing the muscles ,they become

a secondary blood pump to relieve the stress on the veins. We are design to

move. With this in mind, setting a long period of time is also a problem.

Unfortunately, many of us are forced to work at desk all day . If this is the

case you may want to get up from time to time and stretch those legs. At lunch

time I usually bring something I can eat while walking.

Another problem with sitting at our desk for a long time is that the edge

of the chair presses into the hamstrings .This to can create pressure in the

veins. To help with this problem you may want to try placing your feet on a stool

..Also if the edge of the chair is hard ,you may want to try a folded towel on

the edge of the chair.

An old time remedy is to drink 1tbl. of raw apple cider vinegar in a

glass of water before meals you can add some raw honey to this beverage to make

it palatable .The vinegar must be raw to drink, never drink distilled vinegar.

Put a cup of vinegar in your bath water is helpful . You can also warm

the vinegar and dab it on the veins. for external use distilled is permissible.

A favorite of herbalist is horse-chestnut extract or capsules.

Horse-chestnuts also comes in creams for external use.

If I was having any kind of circulation problems the first thing I would

be taking is Cayenne caps.

Vitamin C and Bioflavoniod and Rutin are good for strengthening veins.

Another treatment is hydrotherapy .Apply hot compresses to the legs and

then cold.Keep alternating.

You can also have Lazar treatments which is non-invasive and very safe.

You can talk to you health care personnel about your choices.

Have you tried yoga? Inverted postures like shoulderstand and plough

are great for this. It takes time and has to be done on a regular

basis. Also, lay on the floor next to a wall. Raise the legs

straight up against the wall and rest there for a few minutes.
