I know I have been very quiet on the list. But my husband suffers from bi-polar. He refuses to think anything is wrong with him and he has episodes about ever 6 months. Well this one hit me harder then ever. He wants a divorce saying he doesnt love me anymore. He loves me one min doesnt the next. I have MS and its really throwing me for a loop. He has never really been this strong about divorce before and weve been married almost 12 yrs. My friends husband has it and is on meds and does great no more mood swings. But mine refuses. So Im wondering if there is anything natural besides, kava kava, st. johns wort or valerian that would help with the mood swings and keep them under control.

I really need help on this because I havent worked before and if he decides to take off I will be stranded with 300k in debt and no car. So please if there is anything I need to know so I can help him.

Thanks

Gina

Hi Gina,

There have been various posts on this group regarding herbs to help with this type of thing. I recommend searching through the archives. In the meantime, you can start cleaning up his diet. The closer he is to a raw, organic diet, the better. Lots of fruits and veggies! Have you looked at doing the total body cleanse at all? If the two of you could do it together I think you would both find it very helpful.

I wish you the best in getting through this episode with your husband.

Best,

Kelli

Kelli,

He wont let me make his lunches anymore. I always put raw veggies and fruits in them. He wont do anything but take some vitamins. Thats where I stand. He says there is nothing wrong with him when there is. Its been going on for almost 12 yrs. His family noticed it and said he needs help but he wont listen to anyone.

Thanks for the advice. Tonight is salad with tons of raw veggies in them. Dessert is fresh fruit. If he comes home its a hit and miss thing with him.
