Anyone made the herbal first aid salve?

I got the recipe for the salve in the files, and it says it is for

cuts, lesions etc. It calls for arnica though and I thought you weren't

supposed to apply arnica to broken skin. Has anyone made this?

 

I noticed this with other recipes too. Like the tooth formula calls for

herbs you are not supposed to ingest. Anyone made that? Thanks in

advance.
