Dear List members

My daughter is showing symptoms of hypothytoidism. Her metabolism

has

gone down resulting weight gain and this is really deressing her.

I have been careful about eliminating food itmes that get in the way

of thyroid function from her diet. I have cut down on cruciferous

veg., soya, corn etc.

Her blood test for thyroid profile shows that she is at the lower

end

of the range.

I am not happy about putting her on thyroxine. However I have been

reading about other supplements. One that has been mentioned is L-

tyrosine which is uspposed to be a precursor to thyroxine.

Is L-tyrosine safe?

Is selenium as a supplement safe?

More importantly is there a safe herbal remedy for this condition.

Perhaps list members can help me. Thank you.

regards

Check out the Black Walnut Hull Tincture in the files - this will normalize/re-balance the thyroid.

I would also check out the acid/alkaline balance in your daughter. See details in the files also. There's also a chart in the files, identifying which foods are which.

love

Lisa
