Guest guest
Hi Herb, I've had some recently, and successfully dealt with it. Whenever you have an attack, take B1 (dosage depends on you, start with 50mg and increase if/as needed), together with 1000mg vit C and a good calcium/magnesium supplement. It's important that you take all these together. I also take that half an hour before going to sleep to ensure a good night's rest. Also, as much as you can, go take a walk. Go outside to a park or other spacious place with not too many people around, and walk around, having a good look at the things in your environment, until you feel more extroverted. Then, once you've calmed down, and with a good friend whom you trust, have a look for any negative people in your life/environment, as that is usually the cause of such panic attacks. You'll need to get rid of such people in your environment, or at least find a way to become CAUSE over the connection, instead of being affected by their negativeness. love Lisa - Herb herbal remedies Thursday, July 28, 2005 10:33 AM Herbal Remedies - introduce myself i'm a 37/m who suffers from Panic Attacks.I've suffered w/this for approx.16 yrs. now and they are getting worse!I've currently developed the fear of driving on the freeways!Living in a large city as Houston,it has become a task to get around!I've been on all types of Rx.meds and tired of they're side effects.(not to mention the costly Dr.visits)I would greatly appreciate ANY info. on herbal remidies for this disorder. Guest guest
I've had pretty severe anxiety for many years (15+) I have had one major panic attack, and a lot of feelings of panic, but not really a crippling attack. I had been on anxiety meds for 12 or more years. In January I went to the naturopathic doctor and I quit drinking anything with caffiene in it, I have completely stopped drinking pop and using any type of artificial sweeteners. I have also been trying to eat more alkaline forming foods and less acid forming foods. It has been amazing to me how much better my anxiety is. I have stopped taking the meds and most of the time I feel really good. I still get a little anxious, but I am sure most people do. Now if I could figure out how to get over my sugar addition. I just can't seem to give that up. I eat a very small amount of sugar compared to what I used to eat though. Mail - Find what you need with new enhanced search. Learn more. Guest guest
hello herb, rik here, i have had anxiety for over 20 years and been controling it by understanding breathing. i see you have had some responses from others about what not to use, like caffeine, sugar, no alcohol or sigarets, just to name a few. i know it can be difficult, but if you think of it, it is just poison anyways, so why take it ey?! if you feel like writing me, try off list so i can give you some links about breathing. in my case, i could take all the herbs in the world, but if i have got used to bad habbits with breathing, i feel i have to focus on that one first and eat healthy foods. one other thing i would like to say is that sport will help tremendously as well. you use your muscles and get your heart and lungs exercised. if i run for a while, i feel really relaxed. okay, this is it for me now, feel free to contact me off list, good luck, rik > i'm a 37/m who suffers from Panic Attacks.I've suffered w/this for > approx.16 yrs. now and they are getting worse!I've currently developed > the fear of driving on the freeways!Living in a large city as > Houston,it has become a task to get around!I've been on all types of > Rx.meds and tired of they're side effects.(not to mention the costly > Dr.visits)I would greatly appreciate ANY info. on herbal remidies for > this disorder.
