Banana skins applied to the affected area are said to be effective

however as this can be messy and difficult at best probably best to do

at bed time.

Hello Jeni,

In clearing your ecezema I would reccomend doing a liver and

gallbladder cleanse. I see you have made a great deal of dietary

changes, but would like to add too still check labels for chemical

additives and avoid them. Though the kidneys do have a role of

removing toxins from our system, the liver is the main organ inside

human body who's function is to process substances that

are 'foreign' to our body and to make them " friendly " , when it is

overloaded then we tend to have what is termed " allergies " . I have

worked in the manufacturing field for nigh on twenty years, around

chemicals etc, same with my mother, then tend to build up in our

system. She worked in a glass factory and had a bout with break

outs. Milk Thistle alone is a potent liver cleanser, this cleared

hers up. I see where Doc has several cleanses listed. If you would

like more information, feel free to email me.

The ultimate best due to the Enzyme content are Papaya Skins.

Not only great for Eczema, but'll make a diaper rash disappear almost before your eyes.

:-)

Thanks, all!

That's a great idea, Doc! Where can I get Papaya Skins? Would my

local health food store (Whole Foods Market) carry them, or have they

gotten too yuppie and prepackaged? ;) Would one of the " ethnic "

grocery stores have them? (I have plenty of Indian and Chinese

grocery stores around me, and I'm sure I can hunt down a Japanese one

or two and I've even heard we have a couple of Persian/Iranian stores

as well.) Or is my best bet the internet? If the latter, any

particular site?

Thanks a bunch!!!

Blessings,

--Jen (aka Jyoti--pronounced either " Joe-tee " or " Jody " , doesn't

matter--it's a Sanskrit term meaning light...legal name change to

follow in a few years. Call me by either. :) )

I live on papaya these days, it is my favorite thing while I can get it. And we JUST got a Whole Foods Market (about 90 minutes from here) 9 days ago. It is a good thing.

Aren't they great?

Another hint is to take and save the seeds. Spread them out on a cookie pan/sheet and dry them under a fan on a table or in a dehydrator that does not go above 100* F. There is more enzymes in one dried papaya seed then there is in half a bottle of store bought enzyme capsules. Once dried, put these seeds in a pepper mill and grind them over your food each time you eat. Wow! But doing this gives you a mega Enzyme dose which is extremely awesome for the body.

They actually taste like pepper and are delicious.

Hope this helps.

ahhh, yes, and even kids like them in pretty pepper grinders.

I like it sprinkled on everything, and if you mix the papaya corns (seeds with peppercorns, some persnickety folks never know. :-/

Question about using the papaya skins as a treatment for the

ecezema, will this prevent it from reoccurring? Certainly love the

idea of drying out the seeds and using them in place of pepper. I

just started using Celtic sea salt. I love it already.

Dear Terra,

The Papaya skins are excellent for Eczema, and will continue to clean it up for a long time, however this is only bandaid handling regardless of how effective it is for the short term (could be years).

Most skin problems are as a result of Kidney and bowel debility. When the Kidneys are not operating at 100% efficiency, your body will use your skin as a back-up elimination organ to dispose of wastes. Same goes for a poisons in the bowel. This puts an unusual strain on the skin which then backs up and becomes toxic. It is this toxicity that perpetuates Eczema and many other skin conditions.

Of course the Medico (who never goes to the "Cause" of the problem) contiues to issue his drugs which will mask the pimples, the boils, and the rashes by suppressing those symptoms, but then debilitate the Liver and the Kidneys even further, and thus exacerbating the problem even further.

To look for a terminated handling of Eczema or any other skin condition, you want to use the Papaya skins in conjunction with doing a Total Body Cleanse which will go to the root of the problem = A toxic Bowel, Liver and Kidneys.

Hope this helps.

Love,

Thank you Doc for your response, that makes more sense too me now.

The papaya gives one instant relief, but to clear the problem one

would need to tend to the bowels and kidney's with proper cleansing.

I do understand that skin problems are often indications of problems

within the body not of the skin itself.
