Elaine,

Thank-you for your diligence!

....So glad you found Dr. Drew's formula

It's excellent for Cholesterol -Low HDL, High Serum LDL/VLDL, High Blood Pressure, & High Triglycerides,

All the advice you have given your brother is a plus.

In time, convince him to stop eating "all" meat and all their by-

products. Since I've stopped eating "all" meat and anything that comes fron an aniimal

....my BP & cholesterol readings have normalized.

Mornings, I start with -2- large ripe Plantains because they have more "potassium"

than a regular banana. I wait until they're spotted black before I eat them (rawandripe).

To keep my triglycerides low I also eat - 2- healthy bites of ginger root every morning.

(masticating it down to its last thread before I swallow it) Garlic, Maitake mushroom, fenugreek seed, N-acetylcysteine, and Chromium are more keys for lowering triglycerides. (Guggulipid lowers blood fats overall)

(wheatgrass juice therapy is the top of the line)(...or juice anything green in your proximity)

(organic raw and living cell therapy or living food is the key to optimizing health...the more you read this, the more you'll come to know it's the living truth)

Reminder to all: Triglycerides are a sugar-related blood fat that travels with cholesterol. Heart attack rate is twice as high if your triglyceride level is above 250.

Tryglyceride levels should be around 170 to 200mg/dl.

200 to 399 mg/dl is considered borderline. Levels 400 mg/dl and above are too high and considered dangerous to health. Ideal is below 140.

Triglycerides increase the density of LDL cholesterol molecules. Every 1% increase in blood cholesterol translates into a 2% increase in heart disease risk.

High triglycerides cause blood cells to stick together, imparing circulation and leading to heart attack.

....Be Blessed in the right use of Knowledge...JOYintheMorning...

Does anyone have some suggestions for lowering triglyceride levels? My brother, aged 48 truck driver, has been fighting high bp, cholesterol and high triglycerides. I have been able to convince him to eat more raw veggies and to stay out of the fast food places and he has been doing aerobic exersize 3-4 times/wk. He also takes Coq10, as well as garlic and calcium/magnesium supps. I also have him taking Udo's Oil for EFA's. Does anyone have any other ideas? I printed out Joy's post a while back with the article by Dr. William Drew about Cayenne, so that would be my next thing to get him to try...not sure how that will go! ;-) Thanks in advance!Elaine
