Guest guest
____________________ Darren, A dearly beloved one in my family also suffered from this debilitating disease. PARKINSON'S Disease is a debilitating neurological disorder caused by dopamine depletion in the brain, characterized by a slowly spreading tremor, muscular weakness and body rigidity. Normal posture becomes stooped, walking becomes stumbling, motion is trembling and lifespan is shortened. The victim, whose thinking processes often remain normal, feels frozen, unable to make any voluntary movements. Parkinson's affects men and women equally, usually between the ages of 50 and 75, about 500,000 cases are found in the US. It is thought that a neuro-toxin causes oxidative damage to the basal ganglia in the brain that controls muscle tension and movement. L-Dopa, the drug of choice for Parkinson's has hallucinary side effects and causes leg cramps. Natural therapy helps re-establish normal biochemistry. Herb and Supplement Therapy: Rebuild nerve strength to ease tremor: STRESSED OUT extract to ease shakiness (helps within an hour) Twin Lab GABA; Threonine fights spasticity. Nourish brain and nerves: Ginseng therapy is effective/Royal jelly, 4X daily Increase body's dopamine biosynthesis: NADH, 5-10mg in the morning; Tyrosine 1000mg daily; Lysine 500mg daily; Glutathione 100mg daily; full spectrum amino acid supplement (AMINO MAX). Enhance neurotransmitter activity: Phosphatidyl serine (PS) 100mg 3X daily; Metabolic response modifiers (Neuro-Max) to aid in serotonin formation; Niacin therapy: 500mg 2X daily, with B-Complex 100 mg, extra B6 500mg daily if not taking L-Dopa (if taking L-Dopa, do not take vitamin B6; it can block L-Dopa to the brain, B-12, sublingual 2500 mcg every other day. Magnesium 800 mg daily. Creatine 3000 mg daily for neuroprotection. Increase circulation: Hawthorn extract as needed; Gingo Biloba extract for leg cramps and tremor; a Cayenne/Ginseng formula; Oral chelation with EDTA formula as directed. Critical EFAs for the nerves and brain: Evening Primrose Oil 4-6 daily; DHA 200mg daily or Neuromins DHA as directed; Barleans lignan-rich flax oil 3X daily. Help overcome Parkinson's depression: DLPA 500-750 mg Antioxidants are critical in overcoming oxidative damage to the brain: PCOs from grapeseed or white pine 100mg 3X daily; Vitamin E 1000IU 2X daily WITH Vitamin C 5000mg daily with bioflavonoids; SUPERFOOD Therepy: Live cell therapy from GREEN DRINKS (wheatgrass, Chorella, Spirulina Barley grass, Alfalfa); Aloe Vera Juice; Lecithin and Brewer's Yeast; Seagreens; Wheat Germ extract; Make a nerve mix of lecithin granules, toasted wheat germ, almonds, sunseeds, sesame seeds, and brewer's yeast and take 2TBS daily. Go on a completely organic fresh foods diet for 3 days to cleanse and alkline. Then, follow a modified macrobiotic diet for 3 to 6 months until condition improves. Eat smaller meals more frequently. Keep meat protein to a minimum and eliminate alcoholic beverages, caffeine, refined sugar and all processed food/foodstuffs. And avoid aluminum cookware, deodorants with aluminum chloride, condiments with alum et al.
