My daughter has one heck of a canker sore in her mouth. Any

suggestions?

Thank you!

Sandy

Did you know... if a child is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 5, by

the time they are 18, they will have endured at least an average of over 24,000

finger pokes?

Yes..if your daugther use ordinary toothpaste, get her off it.

I quit with commercial toothpaste because it gave me canker sores. Its

something in it that gives canker sores. I cant remember what it was.

But anyway, canker sores left forever when I quit with the commercial

toothpaste.

yorgot is good for canker sores.

a dentist once gave a recipe for tooth paste,

1t baking soda,

1t salt

1 t peroxide

Now this really tastes like crap, but you know it does whiten your teeth better then the whiters out there.walkyria9 <wisdom9 wrote:

So does tooth soap....it whiten the teeth like nothing.

I asked my dentist about hydrogenperoxide since I have two huge cans

with 35% foodgrade hydrogenperoxide...

She said it was very acidic so I had to be careful with it....acid is

what break down the enamel and give holes...

And salt...a very good homeopath said to me to quit with salt asap, I

was using only salt to brush my teeth then. He said that using that

much salt in mouth could give salt-poisoning.

He was the one who said " Use soap, its better than anything else " . So

I did that.

We had a discussion here about what to use to brush teeth and I gave a

link to a site with a letter from a professor in chemistry. He advice

to use soap and nothing else to brush teeth. And he too say acid is

the worst thing for the teeth.

I have been brushing with plain ol' soap for a very long time. I recently decided to try something else and ordered Uncle Harry's toothpowder and his Tooth and Gum Elixir and I love them!!!

When I get canker sores it usually means I have a shortage of B vitamins. I take some extra B-complex 100 for a few days and they clear up.
