To wild craft you need to have a couple good books

with pitures ,color pics, of the plants in your area.

Then you decide which ones you want to use for what.

The books have to also tell you this. You don't want

to just go out and pick any plant it could be poisen.

Don't pick along roads and don't pick in any field

that has been sprayed.

You can make tintures or just dry them for teas. Also

diffrent plants have to be picked diffrent times of

the year. I aldo read that the best time to pick them

is bettween 10 in morning and 3 in afternoon they are

supposed to have the strongest power then and also

make sure it has not rained for couple of days this

also makes them stronger.

Never wash them. Don't pick dirty herbs. Try to find

ones that arn't dirty. Now roots that is a diffrent

story you have to wash them and break or cut them up

smaller to dry proper.

Hope this helps

And i am going to make some extracts. I will get

organic stuff to use.

I would love to know how to make liqures! Sounds so

good.

to make make them is very easy but also very hard because it is all

done by taste.

it is usually done by getting vodka -adding herbs or flowers

or fruit adding the two together and add a sweetner.

since vodka has no taste all you taste is the fruit or the " thing

that you use for flavor "

cordials has been around for hundreds of years-so has some recipes

here is a link on the history and how to make your own.

it not a long read and not bad for information to get your feet wet.

the jist of the whole thing is to take fruit ,mash it,put it into

vodka and add sweet liquid

the strain the whole thing and poof you have a cordial.

if your giving these out for presents i think adding a little bit of

dye is appropriet.

just pretend its a tincture -same rules apply-only you could drink it

without dilluting it.

OH Androshi

Sounds delicious. I know I hate the tast of vodka but

I tinktured some Yarrow in vodka and it came out

tasting right good. So I belive a little fruit would

do the same.

Thanks
