Problems with essential fatty oils

Hey all,

I recently wanted to start taking essential fatty oils, but I've shown

definite allergic reactions (slight swelling of the throat and

itchiness) to two kinds: borage oil, and (just today) evening primrose

oil. What I wanted to know was whether you folk think it likely that

I would have a similar reaction to other kinds of these products. Are

there others on this board who've had a reaction to these products?

Is there some common ingredient or substance in these that might cause

my reaction? What else could I possibly try for the same effect? (I'm

afraid of trying flaxseed oil and having a similar (or worse)

reaction. And the primrose oil I tried because people on another

board recommended it).

Thanks, from a supplement newbie :)

Oh...

I thought borage oil and evening primrose oil was same thing. Learnt

something new today...

Well...I dont know anything else than to try different oils and see

what you dont react to.

Udo's Choice oil would be one option. Who knows, maybe you tolerate it?

Hemp seed oil is another option. Rich in omega 3,6 and 9.

Flax seed oil I stay away from, since it goes harsh fast. Except Udo's

choice oil, because they use a special process when they create the

product.

And if you dont tolerate any plant oil, then its these options left:

fish oil capsules and seal oil capsules. Those that is cleansed for

toxins, of course.
