It isalso a phytoestrogen which can be especially dangerousfor children and anyone who has estrogen dominance. Here is a link that gives links to a lot of differentarticles and studies about the dangers of soy:http://www.mercola.com/article/soy/#You can also do a google search for "soy dangers" andyou won't believe what you come up with.I read every food label before buying and if itcontains soybean oil, flour, etc. I won't buy theproduct. I try to avoid soy lecithin too but that isdifficult when I'm dying for a chocolate bar and nowhere near a Whole Foods (their brand doesn't have itand is organic too) ;-) . What drove me nuts was thefact that I couldn't find bread without soy so startedmaking my own. Almost every product contains soy butwe eat a well rounded diet even though we avoid it.<<Message: 15 Thu, 30 Jun 2005 09:49:58 +1000 Suzy Whymark <speklanRe: Re: Aspartame - in non diet & non sugarfree stuff tooSorry - I haven't ben reading all the posts - too muchmail so I only read subject headings that "catch my eye".But - what's wrong with soy???> I avoid all soy (and try to> avoid corn as much as possible), not because of> allergies, but because of the problems associatedwith> it.>> __ Sports Rekindle the Rivalries.
