Guest guest
I am wondering if anyone can tell me what seems to cause one's muscles to become stiff while sleeping. Upon awakening in the am, it is hard to get the body moving and limbered up................once up for a bit and moving it does tend to get better. It feels as if it is actually the muscles and not the joints. Have been taking daily 2000mg of MSM now for about 3 weeks and doesn't seem to of helped any. Any help would be appreciated......... Is my MSM from a reputable source? (ask about its nutritional sulfur composition?) Am I exercising more often than usual? (happens to me everytime) How about daily water intake...muscles need fluids to contract and relax. Am I eating plenty foods rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium, iodine, trace minerals, and vitamins C D E & B6? In the meantime...you may want to take vinegar or epsom salt baths...or heat some sea salt in a pan and funnel it into an old sock and apply directly on affected area. or alternating hot and cold hydrotherapy, or hot and cold compresses applied to the area to ease pain and promote circulation and healing. Also, take brisk walks everyday to relieve leg cramps at night. (sometimes, the sodium imbalance in high blood pressure medicine upsets mineral salts in the body and can cause muscle spasms as well) Be Blessed in the right use of Knowledge...JOYintheMorning... ___________________________ I am wondering if anyone can tell me what seems to cause one's muscles to become stiff while sleeping.
