Guest guest
I'm thinking about doing this before getting into the more extensive stuff. Howver it says if their is a tendancy toward appendicitis to follow the following protocal of high enemas. I do not have this apparatice or the ingredients that go in it. Is their a tendancy for ones body to react this way while doing this cleanse for some reason? Does it happen often? Or is it a rarity? I know the cleanse would be beneficial but don't want to wind up with an appendectomy. Any advice from those who have done tried this would be greatly appreciated. Just a little apprehensive. Guest guest
__________ Dear Orphan 1948, Please know that "education" is the key to any apprehension or fear. Read all you can on the subject of colon cleansing/enemas/colonics et al (...plus any subject matter addressing...keeping the GI Tract clean and healthy...) Once you raise your consciousness..your courage will kick in (Keeping my entire GI Tract clean will always be part of my daily mindset) (...keeping it clean...keeps me healthy ....never had a problem with colon cleansing or enemas) ....as far as an inflamed appendix ....when inflamed and in its usual position, a point of tenderness known as McBurney's point is located at the junction of the middle and the outer thirds of a line joining the umbilicus and the anterior superior iliac spine. The site of an appendix determines the site of an abscess which may form as a result of appendicitis. When situated in front of the cecum, the abscess is walled off in front by coils of small intestine and omentum. An abcess behind the cecum may be intraperitoneal or extraperitoneal. (the large bowel begins in the right iliac fossa as a blind head, called the cecum, to which the veriform appendix is attached) Pursue reading additional information from an anatomy volume to determined risk of an high enema/colonic. ....Be Blessed in the right use of Knowledge...JOYintheMorning.. ___________________orphan1948 <orphan1948 wrote: I'm thinking about doing this before getting into the more extensivestuff. Guest guest
Hi O, I've done Doc Christopher's Juice Cleanse multiple times, but don't have a " tendency toward appendicitis " that I know of. If you do have a tendency, but it's only slight and you want to try the cleanse, you might want to try just one day to start with, not the 3 days as recommended in the procedure. The only other thing that I can think of, and I've been meaning to try this myself, is to do it with the IC#2 in order to absorb the stuff your body will be dumping. This is similar to the 3 day juice fasts on the Total Body Cleanse. I thought that maybe it would keep your appendix from trying to absorb everything if the IC#2 has gotten to it first. Anyway, those are my thoughts, but I'd recommend researching that aspect of it a little more first. Good luck! Guest guest
True. In this world there are only two sources from which fear comes. The first is a danger to your person or someone else. The second comes from a lack of information. -Shelby herbal remedies [herbal remedies ]On Behalf Of joy wilsonWednesday, June 15, 2005 7:13 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: Herbal Remedies - Question Dr. Christopher's Juice Cleanse __________ Once you raise your consciousness..your courage will kick in ....
