Thanks A K Hi I am dealing with this nasty condition also. Apart from the no acid, spicy or hot temp foods or chips I like the Toms alcohol free mouth wash. There is a steroid you rub into the tissue when you have a flair so and herbal remedy would have to be a very strong anti inflamitory that can affect the tissue on a cellular level.
