Question about the Lemon egg recipe needs

Hi, My question is how many eggs and how many lemons? I have 6 organic

lemons and a dozen organic eggs. Is this safe during pregnancy? How

much would I give to a 40 lb child?

Hi Vikki,

I don't think you're going to be able to cover 12 eggs with the juice

from 6 lemons, but it depends on how big the lemons are. I would bet

it's more like 6 eggs. I make Lemon Egg all the time, but I never count

how many lemons I use. I typically put 6 eggs in a quart mason jar and

then just juice lemons until I have enough to cover them.

I take a couple Tbsp in my TN every morning. I would give a 40 lb child

1/2 a Tbsp.

Hi Vikki,

I normally make it with 2 eggs and about 4 lemons, depending on the size of the lemons really.

You can check out the "150 rule" in the files on our website, which will tell you how much a child should have of anything. This is what I apply with my son, and it works great!

Hi Peter,

Lemon Egg is Doc's recipe for an organic calcium supplement. Look in the files for the recipe and info.
