Guest guest
Hello, This is my first post on this board. I've been in severe chronic pain for the last four years following an auto accident. The pain is at the bra line and I havn't been able to wear a bra since the accident. I have been in and out of the ER several times with excruciating pain wrapping around the waist, going through horizontally along that plane, feeling like I'm being ripped in half--I pass out from the pain, loose control of my legs, urinate on myself, and have to be taken by ambulance to the ER for nothing more than a pain shot. The x-rays show bone spurs, degenerative disk disease, but not involving the nerve roots. MRI scan taken following the accident showed 5 bulging disks--once again nothing involving the nerve roots. September I had another severe attack--this time my blood sugar shot up over 300, and I was placed on diabetic medication. I am severely overweight (292 and 5' 3 " ), and one would think that I would naturally be diabetic--I know that I am not. I control the 'diabetes' with chromium and MSM or/and vandyl sulfate--the blood sugar is completely 'normal' and the doctors are applauding themselves. When I had another attack in March, once again the blood sugar shot up--only this time I also had shingles. I had shingles twice in my life time, and I think these other severe attacks are post shingles neurlagia. The blood sugar spikes have me very concerned: could a nerve be irritated that affects the pancrias? I feel like that if this isn't discovered and treated that I will die from it. I am taking calcium, condroytian, MSM, ginko bilboa, st john's wort, passion flower, skullcap, chromium, vandyl sulfate, meletonian, 5 htp, bacopa--along with the allopathics. I am consulting with a homeopath who has given me natrium sulficianm (?). So far, it seems to be helping. It seems like this is like a broken arm that hasn't been set. All I have gotten from the medical community is to mask symptoms, not treat the problem. However, I fear that the only way to really treat the problem is to have surgery from the very medical system that refuses to find the problem. Any ideas? Guest guest
Have you gone to an orthopaedic doctor or neuro doctor? Have you had an MRI done? Sounds like you wrenched your spine and it is impinging on a disc causing nerve trauma. If you are losing bladder control this is VERY serious. You must go see a doctor....ask about cauna equine syndrome....you can do research at spine universe online. herbal remedies , " acreativetouch " <dcarlson@a...> wrote: > Hello, > > This is my first post on this board. Star Trek II The Wrath of Kahn If u do research on the net by going to www.ask.com and typing in what is 5-htp u will find out that u are not suppose to take it with anything else that will have to do with the brain functions. ur mixing 5-htp and st johns wort u may not have had any effects yet but u could be doing unseen damage. I would only take one of these and leave the other out. > > > I am taking calcium, condroytian, MSM, ginko bilboa, st john's wort, > passion flower, > > skullcap, chromium, vandyl sulfate, meletonian, 5 htp, bacopa--along > with the allopathics. > > > > > > Dorothy Carlson > Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: > 1. Guest guest
Really? Hm.....I got an MRI scan and they found 4 back damages. But I suspect there is fractures they cant find because they are so tiny. That car hit me in the rib on left side with its mirror, and with so great force that it broke the rib. And then I smashed my whole left side on the asphalt road. My doctor did mumble about muscle damages and they cant find out of it anyway, and a psychic one (who do have medical intuitive skills) saw lots of tiny fractures on left side of spine. Its not so bad for me really, I just want to do weightlifting again and tai chi etc. But it kills me after some days with these exercises and I have to stop. I can do Pilates in good periods, but after two weeks I have to stop. And then I feel weak for months. My balance suffered bad too. I was great in aerobic and jazz ballett. Now I cant do it anymore. Blah....one day I will figure out how to get better of this. W9 herbal remedies , " lolo551sugarhill " <lolo551sugarhill> wrote: > Have you gone to an orthopaedic doctor or neuro doctor?
