Guest guest
I had a lot of ants this spring and refused to spray. I bought a natural pesticide book which had the following suggestion and it was 100% effective, I was amazed. Yes it does use the boric acid you get at the hardward store, but ........ here goes. you take 4 cups of water and dilute 2 cups of white sugar into it. They add 2 teaspoons of this boric acid that you get at the hardware store. Then you take this and take some small jars (i used cosmetic sized jars that I have) and fill them with cotton balls, then fill the jars with this substance. I didn't cover them as I put them behind the toilet and a few places that kids or dogs couldnt' get do, however the instructions do say that if you are putting them where a pet or child could get to it, just punch holes in the top, big enough for the ants to get in. I was amazed , within 3 days of putting these around, they had tons of ants in them and no more came. good luck, let me know if it works as well for you as it did for me.
