Thyroid toxicity was.... Synthetic Thyroid Medicane

Since I haven't seen this mentioned on the thyroid posts, I thought

maybe it might help to bring the subject up?

Its known that fluoride is very bad for the thyroid, and can cause

malfunction and thyroid diseases/disorders. Avoiding known sources

may help regulate the thyroid again? Many countries have banned the

fluoridating of water supplies, and others have " reclassified " it as

a poison due to its toxicity. Much of the fluoride used today

is " artificial " (meaning man-made), and is collected as waste

byproducts from aluminum mfg and from pollution scrubbers at

phosphate fertilizer mfg plants.

Besides the " artificial fluoride " added to many water supplies, many

of the " commercial beverages " are made with fluoridated water too, so

it would be best to avoid them. And, of course, any fluoride

containing dental preparations/products.

Fluoride is also used in LOTS of pharmaceuticals, so if you take any

meds, you may want to check their chemical formulations to see if you

are getting fluoride compounds in the drugs.

Another common route of exposure is thru the use of non-stick

cookware and/or stovetop drip pans and/or ovens. (IE: Teflon,

Silverstone, etc.) The PFC chemicals (perfluorochemicals) are

released as fumes when these items are heated. Common sense tells me

if the chems are released into the air as fumes, they are also

released into the foods cooked in them.

These chems are also used as " stain/water repellents " in many

fabrics, and they are even starting to use them in hh cleaners, and

personal care products (lotions/shampoos) etc. too.

The fumes emmited are so toxic that they kill pet birds outright.

These non-stick chemicals are building up in both humans & animals

everywhere, including " polar bears " (which don't cook with non-stick

cookware, or wear non-stick coated fabrics) These chems are

persistant pollutants and do not break down in the environment.

In lab studies, these chems have shown toxicity for 4 organs/tissues

and 9 types of cells that regulate immune system functions, including

the thyroid. The thyroid damage includes cellular effects of the

organ, and " hypothyroidism " , and TSH levels.

If you aren't avoiding these potential sources of thyroid (and other

immune system) toxicity already, it may be worth a try?
