Guest guest
Karen, I would use the Total Healing Poultice powder. I think you should call Doc's office and ask Doc about the Nerve Regeneration formula and if this would help the cat. I heard that this may no longer be something he makes but you could ask. Let them know what's happening and what I said. The Poultice powder will be the best, I've seen an old friends hound dog replace about a fist sized hole in her shoulder after fighting with a pack of danged coyotes. So... yeah... ask Doc. You can get his number from www.academyofnaturalhealing.com Sincerely, Zebbers herbal remedies [herbal remedies ] On Behalf Of zengirl04 Wednesday, May 11, 2005 9:01 AM herbal remedies Re: Herbal Remedies - Question for Doc or Zeb Zeb - I don't know the age of the cat - maybe 6 yo. He as shot with a .22 rifle one week ago - he made it home and was at the vet all last week and returned home last Friday. My friend states- " The bullet either clipped or bruised his right radial nerve, and he has no use of his right front leg. It's possible that it will recover, can't use the steroid anti- inflammatories until we're done with antibiotics, but so far there's no sign of any improvement there. " Yesterday my friend wrote: " The doc says to give it 3-4 weeks at least; and he leaked a couple oz. of fluid buildup yesterday, which may have relieved pressure on the nerve; and I see signs of more activity -- the shoulder is mobile, although that's not run by the radial nerve. I'm optimistic, but still interested in any remedies that could help. " He's probably on a regular diet - some type of store bought cat food. Otherwise, he has been very active and healthy. Whatever you recommend - my friend is not holistic oriented and will need some explanation/justification for the actions to take. That said, Cujo is his baby and anything that seem logical to him he'll do. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
