Darren -

I've taken Wormwood for parasites and it is excellent. I'm not sure

it would help with the ringworm virus.

>Hi!

Some health food store might carry wormwood, or anything else herbal for

parasites, but if you can't find them there, there is always stores

on-line that you can order from. Also, if there are any occult shops

around, they should definitely have herbs, and among them, wormwood. (It

is used in spells alot). Hope this helps.

Hi!

Wittan, actually. It is the Irish form of witchcraft. I took a home study course on alternative medicine, though. But still not as educated as some of the others here. Always willing to learn more, that is why I joined. Wormwood is used in healing as well, has been for ages.

I have not gotten a chance to read over all the files for the group, but anything the Doc has to offer is surely going to help.

>> Hey Darren,

I have been a practicing witch for about 10 years now, but only a Wittan

for about half that time. I found out about it after reading, and decided

it was the path I wanted to take. Witta, unlike Wicca, is not all

ceremonial. It is basic nature craft, meaning Wittans don't need things

like fancy wands or crystal balls. Not as materialistic if you want to

think of it that way. Not as out there as Witta can get sometimes.

If you do ever have the opportunity to take anything concerning herbalism,

natural medicine, etc., by all means, sign up for it. You will learn so

much, and especially if you get books that you can keep. We have discount

book shops here, and I am always on the lookout for herbal medicine and

health books.

Calgary, huh? I'm a big fan of Bret Hart! (I'm hoping you know who he is).

Hello Jen,

Could you please crop the messages in future? Thanks :-)

Also, it might be time to take this conversation to a private level. Witta/wicca is not exactly subject matter for this list?

thanks

Hi!

I am cropping the messages. I always do when I reply to someone.

Also, I am not trying to air my private life. He asked me a question, I

answered him. I also said things about herbalism and natural health in my

answers. Witchcraft incorporates a lot of herbalism and healing in their

practice, and there are others who are witches who belong to this group. I

think the moderators will let me know if this becomes a problem.

Sorry, do not mean to sound rude, just my thoughts.

Hopefully this helps.

Sorry, I did not realize when I was cropping the last message that the

" Federal law... " thing was at the end of every one. I thought that just

appeared at the end of just the one I sent, or I would have erased them

too. I do try to crop the last messages when I send something, and

anything else when I reply is not supposed to carry over...computers.

Gotta love 'em.

Hopefully everyone understands if this created too many problems (and some

upset people). It was not my intention to be impolite about sending my

messages. Many apologies.

Thanks,

Jen

Hi Jen,

I AM a Senior Moderator, and as such I asked you to please take the conversation on wicca/witta over to private conversation. Sorry, should have mentioned I am the Moderator, in case you didn't know.

There is no problem with the herbal/healing aspects of it, just that the discussion of the subject in general is not really a matter for this list, that's all. I totally understand that you were answering a question, but there've now been about 3 postings back and forth, and I think it's time to take any further discussions to a private conversation.

i think i might have overstepped group boundries here. Please forgive me, as this was NOT my intent. i try to play an active part in ANY group that i am a member of. i tend to ask questions of people in order to get to know them.

if i had known that this would blow up like this i simply would have thanked Jen for her reply to my query and been done with it. I am simply trying to get the most out of the group that i can.

Again, sorry if i overstepped

Hello Darren, and Jen,

Please, I really didn't want to make a big deal out of this, as it isn't. No need to apologize either one of you! If it had been a problem, I would have stopped the conversation right at the beginning :-)
