Guest guest
Hi - A close friend of mine has a very loving and devoted tomcate. Some lowlife shot the cat with a .22 in the chest and out the back. He brought himself home, spent five days at the vet clinic, and came home Friday. Spirit and energy are good and getting better. However, the bullet either clipped or bruised his right radial nerve (whereve that is), and he has no use of his right front leg. It's possible that it will recover, can't use the steroid anti- inflammatories until they are done with antibiotics, but so far there's no sign of any improvement there. HELP - what does my friend do? Where is the radial nerve? Would DMSO help? What else can he do? The tomcat is an outdoor cat, a great hunter, and I'd hate to see him either lose the leg or have to be put down. Thanks for any assistance anyone with pet experience can provide.
