Guest guest
Hello! My 3 yr. old is experiencing his first (and hopefully last!) bout of constipation. I've ordered the #3 cleanse and hope it comes SOON! My question is... how long do/can I use it? The instructions say " ...on a daily basis until you get the desired effect of 3 to 4 easy bowel movements a day. On an older child, start with 1 dropperful (goes half way up the tube) and increase daily until individual dosage is reached. " So is this to be used just until they are regular, or can it be used indefinitely? I guess I'm asking more for my older son, who has bowel issues due to a bowel disease he was born with... he has to take fiber to stay regular, and even then sometimes he skips a day. Can I use this on a daily basis (possibly for years to come) rather than or in conjunction with the fiber? Thanks! Tracy in Ohio
Guest guest
Hi Tracy, I know that Doc says that Intestinal Cleanse #1 can be taken indefinitely. Not sure about #3, but I would assume so as it's the child version of #1. love Lisa - Tracy in Ohio herbal remedies Friday, May 06, 2005 2:13 PM Herbal Remedies - Intestinal cleanse #3 question Hello! Guest guest
They can both be taken indefinitely. The #3 and #1, depending on age I’d have the older child (if 8 or above) take the #1 formula.
