I have an 8 year old that fell in a tree and a thumb size limb went in

her back 4 inches in. It did not hit anything major, but shredded the

muscle. She has sat up infection after 2 days of being out of the

hospital. I am packing her everyday, is there anything else that I can

do to help heal the wound from inside out?

There is a powder that Doc can get a hold of for you called, " Total Healing

Poultice Powder " . This will work wonders on that wound. If there were

anything wrong with the wound whether in or out this would also correct it.

It has everything a wound needs to heal quick.

To answer your question, Cayenne. Capsule for her age. This will increase

blood circulation and speed the healing.

Hi Dawn,

I would give your 8 year old natural vitamin C to help with the

healing. One of the functions of vitamin C is tissue reconnective

growth. I use pure vitamin C crystals (1 tsp = 5,000 mg of C). The

way you determine how much to give her is to give her a gram at a

time until she reaches bowel tolerence(diarrhea). Then back off of

that amount a little. That is what her body can use. And adult

will use about 8-10 grams a day. You don't need to worry about

giving her a toxic amount because C is water soluble and anything

that the body doesn't use is eliminated in the urine.

I just add a tsp. to either a quart of water or to orange juice, mix

it up well and then periodically drink it during the day.

I can vouch how well vit. C works as I had cancer surgery and had

half of my neck removed 5 years ago. The doctor told me that I would

be in the hospital for three or four days after the surgery. I asked

him why three or four. He told me that it takes most people three or

four days for their bodies to heal enough so that the drain tubes

can be removed. I started taking about 10 grams of C a day a week

before the surgery. Within 18 hours after I had the surgery the

drain tubes quit draining. I had healed that fast!

So have faith that the C will work for your daughter.
