changing mental attitude - thyroid question again

Adding to this I have a question back to the thyroid thing. I found I

had hypothyroid in 1998 - I have to take levoxythyroxine .125 mg

(125mcg) once a day. Three days ago- because of another couple people

in this group posting that they take care of there thyroid naturally - I

quite taking the thyroid medicane. Assuming I had to let it get out of

my system in order to start natural ways of dealing with my low working

thyroid.

Today however my entire body got lethargic and felt numb ALL over. Like

a tiny static pulse flowing through my veins so I started back on the

levoxythyroxine and with an hour had energy and the icky tingly feeling

went away.

What was that icky feeling? My thyroid slowing down again? How do you

move to natural ways of taking care of a thyroid if your not going to

the doctor to get your blood taken for proper levels of medicane?

What happens if taking natural means to help my thyroid function

properly dont work and I end up really sick like I was before I found

that I had thyroid disease?

Thanks again

Dear Deanna,

When coming off of any medication you should do is on a gradient.

Take 3/4 the next day then 1/2 the next etc. You know how you feel better

than anyone so you simply regulate it for yourself. Sooner than you think

you'll be off of it.

Your medication is not helping your body. It is taking over the

job. If it was helping you would be able to come off of it without ill

effects. This is bypassing your normal body routine and causing an action

to occur without you being in control of it bio-chemically.

Lets say your body does 5 actions to activate the thyroid when

necessary. Well this pill simply goes past about 3-4 of these steps and

gives it a huge kick. What needs to be done is to heal the 5 points, cause

something is out on one or more.

I keep repeating this but it cannot be too stressed, the pill you pop is

Kicking the area, not activating it. It is replacing normal body functions

and inducing an action without the other component parts of the body being

involved. After a while of no real use these get weaker and weaker. And

you depend on medication more and more not to mention the various OTHER side

effects the pill leave behind in the body.

Sorry if I'm going " off " just wanted to be completely clear.

Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following:

1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire.

2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural

3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and to

prescribe for your own health.

We are not medical doctors although MDs are welcome to post here as long as

Thank you for answering my post.

_*What do I do once I am off of the medication entirely?*_ I have seen

Kelp in the veggie department of our health food store and some herbal

supplement called Thyroid Support by Solaray I believe. ? Any guidance

from here would be a good start for me in that direction.

I am off of all other meds, ( the antianxiety, the ambien for sleep, the

muscle relaxers for back pain, the " mini " pill used for nursing

mothers) The only one left is this thyroid one.

I have seen the posts of people who use other means to controll thyroid

function, do you still get your blood checked every 6months? or you just

go buy how you feel to up or down herbal supplement controll? Will I

need to use the thyroid herbs all my life or will my body eventually

start working on its own again with proper daily excercise, proper

eating habits, Monthly cleanses etc?

Thanks again for answering all my questions, but I guess I wouldnt know

how to teach myself if I didnt ask, right? :)

Deanna,

Have you requested Doc's free CD lecture? It really is free, no

strings attached. It gives you a general idea of things going on around our

planet and the general scene of its health. Doc has a program that is

designed to get the entire body back on track. There are other parts of the

body that have to be completely overwhelmed and under constant attack for

the thyroid to collapse and need help.

So if you want the best ideas as to where you go from now I'd

suggest you get a hold of Doc and get his lecture. I have done his " Total

Body Cleanse " 4 times now and I can tell you that I definitely needed them.

I can tell exactly what and when and how things go wrong when they go wrong

with my body and because I've done the cleanse enough I have a general idea

of what to do about it whenever I need to.

Currently I am back in school learning how to be an expert in the

field of Study (sounds funny, studying to learn how to study) and then I'll

be handling my past education. But I can tell you this, Doc's office is

always there, always willing to answer questions (as long as you don't take

up all their time rambling on and on) point you in the right direction to

get you feeling and living a better life. They are live people. They work

with thousands upon thousands of people every year and they get fantastic

results.

So my suggestion is to get a hold of his office and go from there.

You'll not be sorry and you'll be loving me for suggesting it.

Sincerely,

Zeb
