Question about hot-cold hydrotherapy

I have recently started doing this, and wanted to know if the following

is normal... does anyone else 'flush' after their shower? From the

collar bones up, I turn beet red and my face and neck are very warm.

It lasts for perhaps 20 minutes, and then goes away. Also, the skin

underneath my eyes becomes very sensitive, burning for about the same

length of time the flush lasts. The last time I did it I also had a

splotchy flush on my left shoulder. Anyone else experience something

similar?
