Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am new to the group, have listened to the CD, ordered it, waiting on the forms in order to get a consult, but in the mean time, I would like to know if there are people on here that have Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. With the Fibromyalgia, do any of you have muscle inflammation and pain 24/7 with very tight muscles all the time and stay exhausted? If so, what have you taken or done that helped get rid of it. I have tried so many different herbs, supplements, diets, but no lasting results except when I went to an Iridologist a few years back which prescribed Chinese herbs which helped stop all the pain, inflammation, I had tons of energy, felt great while I was taking them. After a few months he quit coming to the US, the Chinese herbs he prescribed cannot be bought over the counter, so I wound up, within a month, back in severe pain, inflammation, exhausted, back on pain meds, had tons of steroid shots, cortisone, then when our health insurance stopped after my husband got laid off and I couldn't get the corsitsone shots, the inflammation and pain only got worse and I am unable to work for years, had to quit playing the piano for church or even attend church. I have suffered with this for over 15 years and the only partial relief I have is from narcotic pain meds, which I hate, and no help with the inflammation, and the pain never stops even on pain meds and I stay ehxausted all the time even when I wake up. I would like to know if anyone on the group has gotten over this awful crap and what you took or did to get rid of it? Particularly the tight muscles, inflammtion, chronic pain, exhaustion? I plan on doing the colon cleanse and mucus diet but think I will need some herbs to help with the symptoms especially while trying to get off the prescription meds. Thanks Angie
Guest guest
I have it and I am much better now than I was in 2003. The first thing I did was to take a horse cure with bentonite clay because I suspected I was not receptive for herbs and other things. One tablespoon in a big glass of water every morning, and then wait an hour before meal. And drinking much water. Two weeks I did it and it was enough to notice that now I was receptive for herbs. Plus I also suspected I was full of toxins and heavy metals (now I have found out that we get fallout from nickel factories in Russia and funny enough, I got nickel allergy when I was 14 - so yes, I was full of heavy metals). Then I did hulda clark liver cleanse to get rid of stones, and that I did. And then I used large dose of chlorella. 8 grams for 5 months and 5 grams for three months. This made me able to get off tylenol with codein totally and I dont have need for painkiller most days now. If so, its just one tylenol that day. I am still bothered with moderate fatique but I know it is partly psychological. Because I get worn out of being around people. Feeling their energies too easy (I am a HSP - Highly sensitive person). So I take time for myself and I am with my friends when I have energy for that. Thats the best way for me for now. Guest guest
> >Hi! I know a couple of people with fibromyalgia, and the pain they can go through. There are a couple of things that can help. Going to a chiropractor for any back pain will help. Sometimes they get a bad rep, but chiropractors can be a godsend if you find a good one. They are considered alternative medicine. Also, accupuncture would help you a ton. Cayenne and ginger rubs are good for any inflammation in joints you have. Yoga or tai chi would also help with both the fibro and with the CFS. Talk to your doctor about these if you want to, see what they say. If they are a good one, they will recommend some people. If not, it may be time to find another doctor. I can get in touch with the people I know that have fibro, and see if there is any other info I can pass on to you if you would like. Well i find that if i take a morning nap it releives the pain and im good for a couple hours, Heet compress also helps aswell as a warm bath. Ya its true the pain killers does not relieve all the pain. On your worst days , only do what your able to do through out the day and live the rest for a day you feel better. In the list of symptomes of chronic fatigue and fibromahalgia it also says your depress and have Irritable bowel Syndrome. i have developped that also. If you look in the symptomes you will find also that you will, get chest pains. that also is one of the symptomes of it. Go get a pamphlet on Chronic Fatigue And Fibromahalgia and a book on it . it will tell you what you can do to help relieve some of the symtomes. Im here if you need someone to talk to concerning this problem we have. we can start a support group on line if your interested. Your friend! xoxo sylvie lachance. Maybe someone can help both of us.I also have Fibromyalgia which first was diagnosed 30 years ago as CFS. The muscle pain and cramps worsened over the years and I depended a lot on quinine and painkillers. After a while a now retired Doctor said it was Fibromyalgia not CFS although there are some symptoms of that. Recently the Australian government took quinine off the pharmacy shelves as it was considered "Dangerous". There was no alternative for me. None that I found straight away. I took more painkillers and drank heaps of 'Tonic water' which contained minimal amounts of quinine. Then, I came across Magnesium with Cramp Bark in it. And MSM. The first one did as good a job, if not better than the quinine ever did. The MSM has practically wiped out the constant pain, to a much lower level. A liveable level you could say. I only have to take a regular painkiller if I am so exhausted and maybe there was a change of weather. You know what I mean. I don't have cramps anymore, as long as I take the Magnesium with the cramp bark in it. I still have tender points but they are only noticed when I touch them. So now I am planning to detox slowly and get rid of all the rubbish my body is storing. Maybe that will be the final answer. Hope this helps. Guest guest
LOL Its a norwegian saying for a cure that is tough and strong. To start with one tablespoon bentonite clay asap can give some reactions, but I was so sick of being sick and full of toxins that I rather handled some reactions to get rid of toxins. Sorry....I forget that norwegian sayings is not in english. Guest guest
Ummm... Well, yes, if its in USA with red meat full of hormones and stuff. Except organic raised animals. But that advice is not good for everyone. I was vegetarian 5 years and I got worse on it. I think there is some truth in bloodtype diet because I was not able to get enough protein on vegetarian diet. Or right type protein, I dont know. They say bloodtype 0 can be vegetarian but then have to figure out and watch the protein thing very, very closely. But anyway, chlorella in high doses like I said in another post, helped because its alot of high-quality protein which is able to get to the muscles. I got that advice from one who have fibromyalgia too. Thats why I decided to do it. She told me that many with fibromyalgia is not able to digest protein from ordinary food (hence I did that 1 tablespoon bentonite clay every morning for two weeks, to get rid of whatever it was in intestines that made me not being able to digest different things). But chlorella have so high quality protein that those who cant digest protein, is able to digest it. At the same time it is detoxifying slowly but surely. I am now on and off chlorella, I dont need it all the time. I am so lucky that I have two health shops where the owner use pendulum to find out what you need and what you dont need. But do not take more than 10 grams of chlorella or you get too much of the RNA stuff (thats why I took 8 grams and not 10 grams) and then one get problems with that with time. Guest guest
I, too, have it and instead of using drugs I'm using natural supplements. What is working for me is 5HTP (not to be taken in conjuction with prescription antidepressants), a " greens " product, essential fatty acids as in Omega 3 and 6, magnesium and malic acid, coral calcium, vit. E and good multi and to help me sleep, either a valerian/hops/passionflower combo or CalmsForte. I do gentle yoga and walk a lot. This seems to be working well and I feel pretty good most days. I also have done the cleanses and try to stay as stess free as possible and meditate. There is a product called " SameE " which is also supposed to be very good but it is very expensive so I have not tried it. Hope this helps.......... Guest guest
I have had Fibromyalgia and chronic Fatigue for many years. Sometimes the pain seems unbearable. I drink a concoction of cottage cheese, flaxseed oil, cayene, garlic and apple juice everyday. When I forget to make this drink, I have a FibroFlare. I also drink carrot juice and sometimes add beet juice to it. The only rheumatologist I ever found who did not think I shhouls go to a shrink but accknowledged that my pain was real, suggested thiis drink. She also did a liver study and concluded that because my liiver is very healthy, that I could drink white vermouth and red wine. I do not drink the wine except on the occasion of a celebration. Exercise helps. I also have inflamation from this condition. For a while I saw a massage therapist. This helped temporarily. But not always . The only thing whick has helped continuously has been the flaxseed oil with cottage cheese, cayenne, ginger, and some oterh herbs.
