Sorry about your problems. :( I was on welbutrin sr which is a lower powered

antidepressant. anyway, I found it best to exercise and keep a well

balanced diet. :( it was very tough, but my nerves are better since i got

off of the antidepressants. Make sure you get plenty of sleep. that helps

alot. :) hope this helps. Herbs are great and they help alot, but for

withdrawing from an antidepressant, i wouldn't try to mix it with a herb. My

sister robin was on paxil which is just as strong and she did fine

withdrawing from it. :) take care and have a nice day. :)

Sincerely,

Samantha

Are you using some kind of supervision for this withdrawl?

I highly recommend it.

Its been suggested to me from several different cultural traditions

that when trying to do something major to have an Elder, medical

someone, guru, spiritual guide, or at least some very good friends

whose opinions I trust to let me know if I was " going off the deep

end " with something.

I would imagine whatever therapy you'd use to make your transition

from what ever drug you were on would depend on the expertise of

who ever was personally supervising your process.

Hi Samantha,

I've never taken Prozac or any other such medication, but have helped someone withdraw from them.

In my opinion, ensure gradual withdrawal. Reduce your dosage step by step. This is especially important if you've been taking it for some time.

And yes, have a friend help you through this. It's important to have someone you trust to talk to, to help you over any humps and barriers.

Improve your diet to include at least some raw foods, and as much organic as you can do.

Take Total Nutrition daily. Ensuring optimum nutrition is very important to you being able to handle the withdrawal physically as well as mentally.

Once you've withdrawn totally, I'd suggest a Total Body Cleanse to get rid of any residue in your body, as well as reverse any damage the Prozac may have caused your organs.

Oh, one more suggestion:

take a walk every day. And while you're doing that, ensure that you look around at your environment, at things you see around you, until you feel better/more extrovert. This is a great help!!

Hello, I can sympathise, I weaned myself off of antidepressents a few

years ago before they put me back on a low dose Celexa.. and wich I

havent been on now for a little over two years. I think they try to

put everyone on it that comes into their office. I found out most of

what I am feeling and crying alot is normal for parents of Babies and

toddlers and small children, or any age for that matter I am sure. But

I notice from a playgroup I went to - alot of moms said the doctors were

trying to get them on antidepressants as well.

I posted a few years ago on the net about the horrible withdrawals I was

going through from antidepressents. I will see if I can find it. for

you to read.

Best regards and sending you a hug.
