Guest guest
Does anyone know about the cause of skin tags? As I get older, (I am almost 38, female), I am developing more and more of them. Not all of them a fully raised, many are just a small lump causing my skin to be rough. They are developing all over my chest, under my breasts, on my neck, some on my stomach and some on my back. They sometimes get mildly itchy. They do seem to be getting worse. I heard a while back that they can be related to blood sugar issues, and I do get hypoglycaemic, so I wouldnt be surprised, but I cant find much evidence or even informtaion on the net about them, or in my books. There's no way I would even bother trying to remove them, there are too many. One doctor told me when I was having a bi-yearly woman's health check, that they are common to develop more as one gets older, but she still expressed surprise at my having so many. Just wondering if anyone knows anything more about them. I also realise they can be viral, but that information still doesnt help much, nor does putting garlic or banana peel or whtever on them- I want to know what is causing them and look deeper than that, atm. Anyone any ideas? thanks Peela
Guest guest
Years ago somebody told me skin tags were a sign of colon issues. Doc recommends taking a sliver of garlic and taping it over the tag for a few days and it will fall off. I tried that, but the skin on my neck is very thin and the garlic irritated it immensely. The band aid glue irritated it even more than the garlic. Guest guest
Yes, I am also interested as what causes skin tags. I have a few also. I mainly have them on my neck (about 4) and one is a bit darker. I also have one or two on my chest and under my arm. Has anyone tried taping the garlic and had success with it? Thanks!
