Hi there. I was wondering what your feelings were on immunizing your children? I have several friends who have not immunized their children. I would be interested in hearing both sides of this. Thank you for your time. Dawn Hunt

Hi Dawn,

I didn't allow my son to be immunized. Seems that there's more problems with children who do, than with children who don't. I consulted my friend at the time (I didn't know Doc then) who had 5 children and whose mother was a pharmacist, now designs vitamins. Her mother recommended not to immunize and my friend never allowed her children to. I trust both of them, so I went with their information. Everything I've learned since made me happy I made that decision!!

Hello Dawn

I encourage you to do your research well, being a LVN in peds and then in the school system. Now a counselor, I have given many injections in the past. What I can say is that now a days with old diseases, reappearing (just last week a strain of flu was sent out world wide) who's to say thats just not the opening for measeals etc. and terrierost threats (knowing family in the military who in san diego are being trainined for this type of war). On a personal note my twins one was in the hospital one was home i fought to have my baby that was home who weighed 3-10 at birth and she was the bigger of the two receive synigaes which is about$ 1,000 per pop. It works i'm blessed i had the flu 3 times as well as my other school aged children my baby NEVER got sick. The injection is only for babies who meet a criteria up to a year. Also I was very i'll during my pregnancy i choose to have steroid injections while I was hospital to mature the development of the lungs for my babies. I had a two pound baby and a three pound baby come out breathing on their own. I urge you to look at whats happening in society and your environment. While working as a nurse I remember the old polio very sweet syrup that all kids loved, but the reason why it was stopped and transformed into an injection was because of cultures of many not to allow anything live to pass through the mouth.
