Guest guest
I just moved my business into the basement of a building and I dicovered black mold in one corner of the room which I didn't notice until their storage items were removed. Does anyone know how to get rid of black mold on concrete blocks? Sorry about the off topic subject but this group is always so helpful to its members and I would greatly appreciate any info I can get! I know this can lead to health issues! Thanks so much! Guest guest
Whatever you do wear a mask when you do it. I know this remedy won't go over well here, but bleach water will help to kill it. Or, if there is drainage - spray it will a hose first then use apple cider vinegar on that area. Then, see if you can do anything to improve air circulation in the basement. I don't know where you are, but some places you can buy buckets of a substance that absorbs moisture. You could also check your healthfood store for natural cleaning products. herbal remedies , " runutts2000 " <runutts2000> wrote: > > > I just moved my business into the basement of a building and I > dicovered black mold in one corner of the room which I didn't notice > until their storage items were removed. Guest guest
I found a test I can do to determine if its seepage or excessive humidity, then I can go from there. I'm in Ohio btw... herbal remedies , " zengirl04 " <zengirl04> wrote: > > > Whatever you do wear a mask when you do it. Guest guest
Hydrogen Peroxide will do it. herbal remedies , " zengirl04 " <zengirl04> wrote: > > > Whatever you do wear a mask when you do it. Guest guest
I attended a class last weekend on organic farming. The guy who has the class is quite unique in that he is growing ginseng which can take 10 years to produce a small root. He also grows Goldenseal which can take 8 years. They use a cap full of chlorox in 1 gallon of water to wash (for a few minutes) the Goldenseal seeds to kill off any fungus or mold before they plant them. They say they don't do it unless they suspect a problem from storing the seeds. The problem I see is what to do with the bleach water, even though it is extremely mild. I wonder if Hydrogen Peroxide becomes benign once it is used - I know the bleach doesn't. herbal remedies , " tempo33x " <tempo33x> wrote: > > > > Hydrogen Peroxide will do it. > > > herbal remedies , " zengirl04 " <zengirl04> > wrote: > > > > > > Whatever you do wear a mask when you do it.
