Guest guest
Dear Dawn, I am so sorry to hear of this. I have been living this nightmare for years - they removed my galbladder and that did help the nausea but the pancreatic pain is horrible. Over time your body will learn to live without fat. For me it was getting over the thinking that I had to have butter with bread, or a creamy salad dressing. Another thing that I was doing horribly wrong was using fatty creamer in my coffee. I would go on fasts for days due to necessity rather than want but never gave up the coffee - during this time I was still hvaving severe pain and then I realized the fat was in the creamer. God to non fat creamer if you havent already and I wish you the best of luck. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that you have to look at all of your old eating habits as just that - old! You have just woken up to your new life so be good to yourself and dont fight what you cant win. Help your body to adjust to the shock by being kind in eating no fat products. Good luck and best wishes, Elise herbal remedies , " katz650 " <katz650@b...> wrote: > > > I am the one that has the gallbladder issue, today I was told that I > have pancreatitis(probably spelled wrong),and that my liver and > pancreas are not producing the enzymes to break down the fats that I > eat, They put me on a all fruit and vege diet. Guest guest
I just had my gallbladder stolen from me (and I really do think of it that way.) There is something that you can do. In healthfood stores and on the net they sell freeze dried ox bile. If you eat something with fat, and your body starts to rebel, you swallow the bile, and it gives your body the same shot of bile that your gall bladder would have. Just as good, heck no. Better than the excrutiating pain? Heck yeah. Ramona Quoting Elise <desertmoonlilly: > > > > Dear Dawn, I am so sorry to hear of this. Guest guest
Hi there! I had my gall baldder removed about 6 years ago and still have pain on that side as well. Is the fat I eat causing that?? I am late in the conversation, but from what I read that was the gist of it. I have been told by other people that the ducts are still there adn that could be the problem as well. Thanks Gina
